Life after Lockdown
If you are reading this blog in April-2020, there is a high probability that you are reading this from your home while following government guidelines for lockdown. At this point, almost each and every part round the globe is under lockdown to contain COVID-19 from spreading further.
Whole world is now well aware of the challenge and threat posed by the growing pandemic of COVID-19 the Corona Virus. As on today, there is no cure and based on experts opinions and past experience, we are few months away from finding a cure (may be vaccination or medicine). Since the virus is highly contagious and spreading exponentially, so till the time we don't have cure, the best way to contain this Virus from spreading further is Social Distancing and Lockdown.
Lockdown means confining of people to their respective areas (home, society, city, country) in order to regain control of the situation. In current situation, Lockdown is much required to ensure that this Corona Virus don't spread further as it is highly contagious. From India's perspective, being densely populated, if not taken care, the whole country can turn into a hotspot in no time. On the top of that, with so many beliefs and cultures, making each and every person aware of the impact of an invisible enemy is a mammoth task. To some extent, now people have realized that this invisible enemy is far more dangerous and realized that this Lockdown is necessary but still we can do better as they say "There is always scope for improvement", and this can be improved only by we people just by following the guideline. Also, we need to understand that Lockdown may prolong in phases for coming months.
So the Corona Virus is here to stay and we will be in this Lockdown situation time and again until there is a cure. So when we start moving out of our houses after Lockdown, are we talking about a different world, maybe YES.

- Isn't the world has changed around you?
- Have you not started taking precautions while talking or making transactions to strangers?
- Are you not prepared with your Mask, once the Lockdown is eased?
- Are you not taking precautions to ensure that you and your family are not infected with corona virus?
Most of you might agree with above points and the key take away from this situation in hand now is the time to condition ourselves and start living with this growing pandemic.
Life after Lockdown is not going to be the same, but are you prepared
- You might see majority of population wearing masks always, to protect themselves and you from air droplet spread.
- People will not shake hands and give hugs. That doesn't mean they don't greet or respect you, they are now taking more care of you.
- Public places (Gym / Airports / Restaurants / Railway stations etc) might be little deserted.
- More and more people will work from Home where possible.
- Buses / Airports / Trains might see bookings where one seat is left unreserved between two passengers
- Banking sector will encourage digitization to avoid people coming to bank
- Digital transactions will be preferred, as exchange of paper currencies will be avoided.
- No more planning of International Trips for atleast a year.
- No more big gatherings.
- Online teaching for kids.
- More and more online conference calls for adults.
To conclude, things are going to be different post Lockdown. So till the time we don't have a cure for this Virus, Social Distancing and Lockdown are the measures we can count upon.
Embrace Social Distancing. Stay Healthy, Stay Safe!!
